PUBLICATION PURPOSE
Why publish anything at all?
Publication creates a visible record of what was said, when it was said, what evidence was relied upon and how the work changed. It can make criticism and correction easier, support transparent research development and create an auditable trail for later professional review. It is not presented as a substitute for formal IP registration or a confidentiality agreement.
